Morocco received on Thursday, May 27, two million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine against the new coronavirus. This morning, two Royal Air Maroc (RAM) planes carrying said vaccine doses landed, a few hours apart, at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca.
Until then, Morocco will have acquired 9 million doses from Beijing. By the end of this month, this number will have to reach 10 million.
This month, the Ministry of Health expanded the national anti-Covid19 vaccination campaign to citizens in the 45 to 50 age group. As of Wednesday, a total of 8,148,964 people have received the first dose while 4,996,705 have received the second.
