410 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 518,868. 8,521,177 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 5,242,075 people have received the second.
297 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 506,740.
3 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,138. 1 death was recorded in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and 1 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 2,990 active cases, including 221 in critical conditions. 7 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 204 cases: 175 in Casablanca, 9 in Nouaceur, 8 in Mohammedia, 4 in Médiouna, 3 in Settat, 3 in Berrechid and 2 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 55 cases: 17 in Sale, 15 in Kénitra, 8 in Skhirat-Témara, 8 in Sidi Kacem and 7 in Rabat.
Marrakech-Safi follows with 54 cases: 47 in Marrakech, 4 in the province of Al Haouz, 2 in Essaouira and 1 in Rhamna. 30 infections were recorded in Souss Massa: 15 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 7 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 3 in Taroudant, 3 in Tiznit and 2 in Chtouka Ait Baha.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 20 new cases: 9 in Tétouan, 5 in Chefchaouen, 4 in Tanger-Assilah and 2 in M'Diq-Fnideq. The province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), for its part, confirmed 11 new infections.
10 cases were recorded in the Oriental region (9 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Guercif), 10 in Drâa-Tafilalet (9 in Errachidia and 1 in Midelt) as well as 9 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (5 in Tan Tan and 4 in Guelmim).
Fès-Meknes confirmed 4 new cases (3 in Fez and 1 in Taounate) while 2 infections were confirmed in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) and 1 in Azilal (Beni Mellal-Khénifra).
