Maghrib Belgium Impulse will be held as a virtual event from june 16th to 17th

As part of the «National Strategy for Moroccan living abroad», the Moroccan and Belgian government announced the virtual event Maghrib Belgium Impulse Days from June 16th to 17th.

During those days, participants will be able to discuss with the first beneficiaries of the support program Maghrib Belgium Impulse (MBI) and to explore the economical opportunities given by different regions in Morocco, in contact with the principal institutions of the country, and the available resources in terms of investments and subventions.

The project will be held virtually and will give the opportunity to put forward the abilities of Moroccans living in Belgium by supporting the productive investments and contributing to the development of Morocco. Forty business project leaders will be accompanied during those two days.

It is worth mentioning that the program MBI is composed of practical training sessions and coaching, but also opportunities to network with expert that work in Morocco. MeM by CGEM accompanies the project leaders in different stages of creation and development of their company. A communication campaign is also held to mobilize the actors of entrepreneurship and promotes investment in Belgium and Morocco.

MBI was initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, executed by MeM by CGEM, 13th region of the General Confederation of Business from Morocco-CGEM, dedicated to Moroccan Entrepreneurs and High Potentials of the World and its technical and financial development by the Belgian Agency for development Enabel. 

The Moroccan community represents, in Belgium, the most important community of foreign origin with more than 550,000 persons representing 4.8% of the total population.
