The national company Royal Air Maroc indicated that a «record affluence has been recorded» on the different distribution channels. In a press release, intended to be reassuring, the company says that «if the flights were completely overbooked on certain dates, more than 70% of the capacity set up for this period is still available for sale».
«Therefore, we encourage costumers to look for alternative dates if they cannot find seats available on their initially planned date.»
Moreover, Royal Air Maroc wants to remind that all the tickets issued until June the 13th will benefit from certain commercial conditions. It is a «reimbursing of the ticket in the form of a credit note to exploit later on the Royal Air Maroc flights, valid for 12 months and reimbursable in cash after this validity is expired» or a «change of date, free of charge».
«Exceptionally, the validity can be extended as far as March 21st 2022 instead of October 31st 2021, as initially planned (a different rate can be applied). If the clients benefited from a previous free date change, they will have the possibility to benefit from a second one, exceptionally», said the same source.
Moreover, the clients who have a ticket with the option of a free reimbursing can benefit from a refund in cash as indicated in the pricing conditions of the ticket.
