Kuwaiti brand franchise operator Alshaya Group, which manages H&M stores and Starbucks cafes in Morocco and in several other countries in the region, said on Sunday that it is «committed to its activities» in the Kingdom. The operator said that it is maintaining its Starbucks cafes and making some changes to the management of its H&M stores in the kingdom.
Alshaya Group’s reaction comes a few days after it was rumored that the operator is withdrawing from the Moroccan market, due to financial difficulties.
Quoted by SNRTnews, the company’s spokesperson confirmed that while maintaining all Starbucks cafes, the company is trying to find ways of making the most of H&M’s capabilities.
