Gulf states reiterate support for Morocco on Sahara

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held, Tuesday, its 44th session of the Supreme Council in the city of Doha. Leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar affirmed «the importance of the strategic partnership between the Cooperation Council and the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco, the implementation of the joint action plan».

The GCC Supreme Council also reiterated «its firm supportive positions and decisions regarding the Moroccan Sahara, and the protection of the security and stability of the Kingdom of Morocco and its territorial integrity».

«The Council commended the decision of the Security Council, Resolution 2703, issued on October 30, 2023, regarding the Moroccan Sahara», it concluded.
