In the Tindouf camps, the Polisario leadership is struggling to deal with a protest movement initiated by the Oulad Dlim tribe, to which Abdelkader Taleb Omar, the current representative of the Polisario in Algeria, belongs. Omar is the eternal rival of Polisario leader Brahim Ghali, who was dismissed twice from running to lead the separatist movement for not having enough experience in «combat against Morocco».

Audio recordings, which Yabiladi was able to listen to, were sent to all members of the tribe to protest «marginalization». The Polisario leadership tried to prevent the Oulad Dlim from protesting, the same audios reveal. This tribal protest by one of the components of the Polisario comes a month after the rebellion led by the son of Mohamed Abdelaziz, the former leader of the Polisario.

The Oulad Dlim tribe had already protested, during the tragic events of 1988, against the authority of the Polisario. A dark page in the history of the separatist movement which has not yet revealed the exact number of victims among the Oulad Dlim.
