Right winger for Premier League club Arsenal and the England national team Bukayo Saka has donated 50 containers to provide refuge for the victims of Al Haouz earthquake, that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 and injured 5,000 others.
The 50 containers are equipped with sleeping, cooking and washing facilities, Goal reported on Tuesday. The containers will help house 255 people, 84 families and 89 children who lost their houses in the devastating earthquake back in September.

«I was shocked when I heard about the terrible earthquake in Morocco», Saka said. «But in the second moment, I knew that I really want to help, and we started to look at what we can do to help the displaced families», he recalled.
«The 84 families and, above all, the 89 children in the containers can regain a piece of their everyday lives. In situations where people are fighting for survival, losing their homes or their loved ones, you become even more aware of the privileged situation you live in», he added.
To provide the needed help, Saka teamed up with BigShoe charity. «Thanks to Bukayo Saka, they are now receiving help, have a roof over their heads again and a smile on their faces», wrote the charity on X, twitter formerly.
