Charred body found during migrant evacuation in Casablanca

On Sunday morning, authorities encountered a charred body while evacuating irregular migrants from the Beggar area near the Oulad Ziane coach station in Casablanca, according to local authorities. The prefecture of Al Fida-Mers Sultan reported that some migrants had set fire to the scene.

The body was transferred to the morgue for autopsy, and a judicial investigation is underway to identify the victim and determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
