Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior visits Morocco, dons national team jersey

Brazilian footballer Vinicius Junior, playing for Real Madrid, sparked discussions after visiting Morocco and posting pictures on Instagram wearing the Moroccan national team shirt.

Further sparking interest, his trip included a visit to a high school in Marrakech. UNESCO celebrated his visit on their social media platform, stating on Monday, Vinicius, «UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education for All, visited a secondary school in Marrakech, a UNESCO Learning City».

The visit saw Vinicius playing football with students in the school's courtyard, greeted by excited applause and cheers from dozens of surrounding students.
