Spanish police launch major operation to find kidnapped Moroccan national

In the early morning of Monday, February 26, Spanish police deployed 100 officers to locate a kidnapped Moroccan national believed to be involved in drug trafficking networks. Five searches were conducted across various Sanlúcar neighborhoods in Cádiz, reports Europa Press.

The incident occurred on February 20th, when hooded individuals fired multiple shots at the victim in broad daylight and on a public street in Sanlúcar de Barrameda before forcing them into a van, according to police sources cited by the news agency.

Eyewitnesses reported witnessing armed individuals firing shots before forcing someone into a van and driving away.

Shortly after the kidnapping, police located one of the vehicles suspected to have been used by the perpetrators.
