Nearly 150 migrants from Morocco arrived on the island of Alborán last weekend. The Civil Guard transferred them to the Temporary Reception Centers for Foreigners (CATE) in Almería and Motril (Granada), La Gaceta reported yesterday.
According to sources from the Andalusian Government Delegation, the transfers began last Thursday. Roughly 100 migrants were evacuated to the Almería CATE, while around 50 others were sent to the CATE in Motril. This distribution ensures that all arrivals receive proper care.
