The 17th edition of the Jazzablanca festival, from June 6 to 8, features British artist James Blunt, who will perform on the Casa Anfa stage on Friday, June 7 at Anfa Park.

Though not initially destined for music, James Blunt achieved global success with hits like «You're Beautiful» and «Goodbye My Lover». After studying aerospace engineering, he followed his family's military tradition before discovering his musical passion during a UN peacekeeping mission in Former Yugoslavia. In 2002, he embarked on a music career that would propel him to international stardom. His debut album «Back to Bedlam», released in 2004, became a worldwide phenomenon.

«With seven albums, millions of copies sold, and numerous accolades (Brit Awards, Ivor Novellos, Grammy nominations...), James Blunt captivates audiences with his distinctive folk-pop style, characteristic falsetto voice, and youthful charm», say the organizers in a press release.

His latest album, «Who We Used to Be», marks his return to the stage with a world tour that includes Jazzablanca.

«Illuminating Casablanca each year with its captivating sounds and atmosphere, Jazzablanca embodies the city's cosmopolitan spirit», add the organizers. «This unmissable event offers a unique and immersive festival experience».

The organizers promise a «17th edition that will bring together an eclectic and refined musical range», with the program to be gradually revealed throughout March.
