Moroccan international player Achraf Hakimi is the highest-paid African player in the French Ligue, also known as Ligue 1.

According to L'Equipe newspaper, Paris Saint-Germain winger has a monthly gross salary of €738,000, followed by Olympique de Marseille's Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (€650,000) and Central African Republic international Geoffrey Kondogbia (€450,000).

The overall ranking puts Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé at the top, with a €6 million gross monthly salary.

He is ahead of his team-mates Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos, who are tied for second place with €1,120,000 each.

In the Italian league, Nigerian Victor Osimhen tops the ranking, an income of €1.5 million. In England, Liverpool's Egyptian international Mohamed Salah earns €1.7 million.
