Moroccan Delegate-Minister to the Head of Government of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies Mohcine Jazouli is on a mission to promote Morocco as a preferred destination for international investment, particularly in the United States.

Between May 6 and 14, Jazouli will lead a roadshow organized by the Moroccan Agency for Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE) in partnership with the Moroccan Embassy in the United States and the US Embassy in Morocco, reads a press release by the Ministry sent Monday to Yabiladi.

The roadshow will visit Dallas, Austin, San Francisco, and Seattle, showcasing Morocco's strengths to American investors in the sectors of new technologies, electric mobility, renewable energy, and aeronautics. This initiative also aims to strengthen the «Morocco Now» brand among American investors.

The roadshow will kick off in Dallas at the 16th U.S.-Africa Business Summit, organized by the Corporate Council on Africa under the theme «United States and Africa: A Partnership for Sustainable Success». This annual event will be attended by 1,500 leaders from the American and African public and private sectors, including heads of state, international investors, US and African government officials, and multilateral stakeholders.

Jazouli will participate in a high-level roundtable co-organized by Africa 50 under the theme «African Infrastructure Investment: Impacts and Returns», which will focus on sharing experiences on how to more effectively finance infrastructure in Africa. As part of the US-Africa Summit, AMDIE will also organize a flagship event called «Invest in Morocco» under the theme «Friendshoring to Strengthen Value Chains with Africa: Morocco Example». This session, which will feature the participation of ONHYM and Casablanca Finance City, will highlight Morocco's strengths as a strategic hub for investment in Africa in key sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy, and digital.

In addition, the roadshow will include strategic meetings with American decision-makers and business leaders, industrial site visits, and a special meeting with the Moroccan diaspora in San Francisco.
