Pratt & Whitney Canada, a subsidiary of RTX, celebrated a significant milestone on Monday, May 27, by inaugurating its new manufacturing plant, Pratt & Whitney Morocco (PWM), located in Casablanca. The ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, as well as senior executives from Pratt & Whitney Canada and representatives of the local economic fabric.

Thanks to the construction of this plant, nearly 200 jobs are expected to be created by 2030. The company has already begun the recruitment process in partnership with the Institute of Aeronautics Professions (IMA). It has successfully installed 80% of the main machines on the temporary site at Midparc to support its ongoing development activities.

«This large-scale project is part of the upgrade of the Moroccan aeronautics base by integrating a cutting-edge, innovative, and technologically demanding activity», declared Ryad Mezzour in a press release.
