Air Arabia has announced the opening of its new airport base in Rabat. The inaugural ceremony, held on Tuesday, May 28, at Rabat Salé Airport, was attended by Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, and ambassadors from several countries.
The opening of this base aims to strengthen connections between Morocco and attractive European cities, while stimulating tourism and economic development in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. Air Arabia passengers can now access direct connections to Barcelona, Brussels, Paris, Basel Mulhouse and Istanbul. A total of 14 flights a week are operated between Rabat and these destinations.

Barcelona: 3 flights a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Paris: 5 flights a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday)
Brussels: 2 flights a week (Monday, Friday)
Basel Mulhouse: 2 flights a week (Tuesday, Saturday)
Istanbul: 2 flights a week (Thursday, Sunday)
