Moroccan footballer Yassine Bounou, who currently plays as goalkeeper for Al Hilal, was named the best goalkeeper in the Saudi Pro League for the 2023-2024 season.
He had a great season, keeping 15 clean sheets and conceding only 20 goals in 31 appearances with his club. Bounou was also named goalkeeper of the month three times: October 2023, November 2023, and February 2024, according to Al Hilal Saudi Club.

Bounou concluded the season by winning the Saudi Pro League title with his club. The Moroccan footballer joined the Riyadh-based team in August 2023 on a three-year contract.
It is worth mentioning that the goalkeeper has been nominated for the 2023 Ballon d'Or and The 2023 Best FIFA Football Awards. In December 2023, he won the CAF Award for Best Men's Player of the Year.
