British rapper Central Cee goes Moroccan for Mawazine gig announcement

British rapper Central Cee took to TikTok on Sunday, sporting a Moroccan jabadour to announce his upcoming Mawazine festival appearance on Thursday, June 27th, 2024 at the OLM Souissi stage in Rabat.

The jabadour is seen as a message to his Moroccan fans. Many internet users noted the traditional garment in the comments section. This isn't Central Cee's first online stunt referencing Morocco.

In June 2022, he was filmed wearing a jabadour in Marrakech just hours before a performance and has also been spotted sporting the Moroccan national team jersey.
