Mark your calendars! The 22nd edition of the L'Boulevard festival will be held from September 12 to 15, 2024, at the R.U.C stadium in Casablanca. Organized by the EAC-L'Boulvart association, this exciting event celebrates contemporary music and urban culture.
This year's edition promises exclusive concerts, an associative and creative market, and a variety of engaging activities. One of the festival's highlights is the Tremplin L'Boulevard music competition. Launched in 1999, Tremplin L'Boulevard provides a platform for up-and-coming Moroccan musical talent.
The call for entries for Tremplin L'Boulevard is open until July 7, 2024 (midnight). The competition welcomes young musical groups and solo artists based in Morocco, competing in three categories: rap/hip hop, rock/metal, and fusion/other contemporary music.
Selected groups will not only have the opportunity to perform on the festival stage from September 12 to 14, but will also receive valuable exposure. Winners will benefit from six days of technical and artistic training, various cash prizes, and other rewards, including recording a track at Studio Hiba.
The festival has a rich history of supporting emerging artists. Since its inception, it has received around 300 musical demos annually, meticulously evaluated by a jury. In total, over 620 young bands have graced the prestigious L'Boulevard stage.
