On Monday morning, July 29, a passenger bus carrying military personnel on leave overturned following a serious traffic accident on the Marrakech-Agadir highway, near the Sidi Mohamed Dalil commune, Chichaoua region, according to the official page of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces (RMAF).
The accident resulted in two fatalities and two others sustaining injuries of varying severity, who were taken to the military hospital in Marrakech.
According to the same source, the Royal Armed Forces mobilized several human and logistical resources to aid the injured, in coordination with the local authorities. The Royal Gendarmerie has opened an investigation to determine legal responsibilities.
