The National Action Group for Palestine has announced a national march to commemorate Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed by an Israeli raid in Iran. The march will be held on Saturday, August 3, starting from Bab al-Ahd Square in Rabat at 11 am.

The group stated that this march is being organized «as a continuation of the overwhelming popular mobilization that the Moroccan people have engaged in across the country in support of the Palestinian resistance and against the systematic genocidal war against the people of Palestine in Gaza and the West Bank».

It also comes «in response to the call of the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh before his assassination to make August 3 a 'national and international day' to support Gaza and prisoners in the prisons of the Zionist entity».
