Moroccan man fatally stabbed in Pontecorvo, Italy

On the night of August 4-5, a 24-year-old Moroccan man was stabbed to death in Pontecorvo, a municipality in the Italian region of Frosinone, according to the Italian press.

Residents of the area called the police after hearing screams, and when the police patrol arrived at the scene, they found the young man lying on the ground in a pool of blood, while his attacker had fled.

The incident began with an argument between two young men, during which one of them used a knife to fatally stab the other in the neck and chest. The Moroccan youth died in the hospital shortly after being taken there.

Authorities have opened an investigation into the incident and are combing the area to apprehend the killer. «Thanks to the analysis of images from surveillance cameras in the area, investigators were able to obtain useful information about the identity of the suspect».
