Moroccan star Soufiane Rahimi extends Al-Aïn contract to 2028

Soufiane Rahimi, 28, has extended his contract with Al-Aïn until 2028, the Emirati club announced on X on Wednesday, August 28.

The Moroccan striker expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached with Al-Aïn's management. «My decision was made after receiving a phone call from His Highness Prince Hazzaa (bin Zayed, the chairman of Al-Aïn)», Rahimi said in statements, «congratulating me on my performance at the Olympic Games» with the Moroccan soccer team.

The Atlas Lion has promised fans that he will win more titles. Last season, Al-Aïn won the Asian Champions League. Rahimi was voted best player of the competition thanks to his 13 goals.

He continued his strong performance at the Paris Olympics with 8 goals. The Moroccan was the target of Saudi club Al-Nassr, home of Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rahimi joined Al-Aïn in August 2021 from Raja Casablanca for approximately $3 million.
