Teleperformance, a French multinational business process outsourcing company, has announced that it has named Moroccan businessman and politician Moulay Hafid Elalamy as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The move is an attempt to accelerate growth and stimulate innovation, according to a press release. This appointment is also intended to help separate the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, to reinforce the Group's culture of entrepreneurship and business development, and to implement a succession plan for top management.
In addition to this position, Moulay Hafid Elalamy is the founder and owner of the Saham Group. He served as the Minister of Industry, Trade, & New Technologies until 2021.
