While acknowledging the significant delay, the association commended the National Council for Human Rights for finally responding to their request.

In a statement, the association expressed appreciation for the response but emphasized that it was two decades overdue.

The association called for a thorough and impartial investigation into the Tazmamart tragedy, seeking to uncover the full truth and ensure that victims and their families receive appropriate individual and collective reparations in accordance with international standards.
