A Moroccan anti-normalization group has filed a legal complaint against a group of Moroccan citizens who visited Israel and expressed support for its war on Gaza. The Observatory against Normalization alleges that the visit was sponsored by the Israeli government and constituted a serious crime.

The complaint, filed with the Rabat Court of Appeal, seeks legal action against the Moroccan citizens involved. The Observatory has condemned the visit as a «dangerous act» that undermines the Palestinian cause.

In July, a Moroccan delegation visited Israel and met with government officials, including the Knesset Speaker and the head of the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy.

The Observatory has referred to the visit «in a number of its communications and in statements by its officials» and called for «legal and judicial accountability for all those involved».
