Morocco bus tragedy : Death toll from torrential rains reaches 11

On Wednesday morning, a new body was found after a bus was swept away by torrential rains in the Wadi Tata, bringing the death toll to 11 and the number of missing people to 5.

«Volunteers launched an operation today to search for the missing, which led to the discovery of the body of one of the victims of the bus tragedy, under the supervision of local authorities», Mbarek Outchrift, head of the local NGO Ifouss Forum, told Yabiladi.

The number of people missing from the bus is estimated at 5. In addition, a young woman from the Ighorten village in the Takzmirt community, who had gone out to search for her father who was herding sheep, is also missing. Her body has not been found until now, bringing the total number of missing people from the floods in the region to 6.
