Servier Morocco hosts solidarity run to support child cancer

Servier Morocco has introduced a new initiative called «Morocco Movement September in Gold» (MMSOR) to support children battling cancer in the country. The program is part of the global «September in Gold» campaign, which aims to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and care.

The MMSOR is designed to provide comprehensive support to young cancer patients, their families, and healthcare providers. This includes financial assistance, emotional support, and educational resources.

To expand its reach and impact, the initiative has partnered with local organizations like Noujoum and Itzer.

A key component of the MMSOR is the «Solidarity Run», a fundraising event scheduled for September 29th in Bouskoura. The charity run/walk is expected to attract around 500 participants, including both seasoned athletes and casual walkers/runners.

Renowned Moroccan athlete Hicham El Guerrouj serves as the program's ambassador.
