Moroccan Islamists have condemned the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli army on Friday. In a statement, the PJD referred to the death of «martyr Hassan Nasrallah» as occurring «following a treacherous raid by the Zionist criminal entity in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon». The Lamp Party stated that this «murder» further «confirms the criminal, bloodthirsty, and colonial nature of this usurping entity».

Meanwhile, Al Adl wal Ihsane denounced the «barbaric bombing of residential buildings on Lebanese soil, in blatant violation of a sovereign state». The group added that this «terrorist act demands that the international community establish a mechanism to prosecute the Zionist entity and put an end to its continued impunity».

Separately, the National Action Group for Palestine organized a sit-in on Saturday evening in front of the Parliament building in Rabat to denounce the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah.
