Four arrested in Agadir for sexual assault of foreign teen

Four people, including two minors, were arrested on Wednesday in Agadir for their involvement in the sexual assault of a 15-year-old foreign national. The victim was visiting the city with her family, according to a statement from the Agadir Security Directorate.

The arrests followed a tip-off from a citizen regarding the suspected sexual assault of a foreign girl in the coastal strip. Police officers immediately intervened, leading to the arrest of the four suspects shortly after the crimes were committed.

The victim is believed to have left the hotel where she was staying with her family after a family dispute. She was subsequently subjected to harassment and collective sexual assault by the suspects, who are involved in seasonal activities on the seashore.

The support cell for women victims of violence interviewed the victim and arranged for a medical examination. The suspects were placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution to uncover all the details and circumstances of the incident.
