The Mall du Carrousel, a groundbreaking shopping and entertainment complex, officially opened its doors in Rabat's Le Carrousel development, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, according to a press release. The 30,000 m² open-air mall features over 100 retail outlets, a multiplex cinema, children's entertainment spaces, and a food court, surrounded by green spaces and parking facilities.
The 600 million dirham project, designed by L35 and Traces architectural firms and constructed by Bymaro, aims to create hundreds of jobs and boost the local economy, as stated in the press release. «The Mall du Carrousel goes far beyond the classic concept of a shopping center. It's a true living space where every detail has been designed to offer an immersive and unprecedented experience», said Fadel Al Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imkan Waterfront.
The mall also exclusively hosts around ten brands new to Rabat. The inauguration marks a significant milestone in the development of Le Carrousel, a mixed-use project along Rabat's waterfront, setting a new standard for shopping and leisure in the city.
