New campaign promotes domestic tourism and mobility across Morocco

The Moroccan National Tourism Office has launched a new communication campaign under the slogan «Let's meet in our country» to promote domestic tourism.

The campaign centers around the theme of mobility and was launched to coincide with the school holidays, encouraging travel and mobility during this period. It emphasizes the use of shared transportation, such as buses, trains, and airplanes, to make travel between destinations easier.

«The aim of this campaign is to highlight the ease of access to various tourist destinations and showcase the beauty, splendor, and diversity of the Moroccan landscape», the office said in a statement.

The campaign also seeks to encourage simple travel by promoting easy, exciting, and fast routes to explore Morocco in new ways.

This video campaign targets all citizens across social and professional groups and all regions of Morocco. It will be followed by additional campaigns during different holiday periods and weekends throughout the year, aiming to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of Moroccan destinations for locals. It also seeks to encourage off-peak travel and prompt Moroccans to plan their trips and visit various regions of the Kingdom.

A third phase of the campaign will be organized in 2025 to promote travel during spring break and summer, focusing on two themes: «Seaside» and «Nature and Discovery».

Domestic tourism accounts for one-third of tourism activity, with over 5.8 million overnight stays recorded in the first eight months of the year.
