City Club owner Jonathan Harroch remanded after arrest

City Club owner Jonathan Harroch, who has been in custody since Saturday for issuing bad checks, has been remanded in custody for an additional 24 hours, according to media sources.

Harroch was arrested at a hotel in Casablanca, where he was accompanied by two young women. Security agents discovered a quantity of cocaine in his possession.

The arrest followed the execution of a national arrest warrant, though the Public Prosecutor's Office has yet to officially announce the reasons for the detention.
