A 32-year-old Moroccan man has been expelled from Italy after being involved in a violent incident in Bolzano, northern Italy, last summer. According to local media, the man, who was intoxicated, caused a disturbance on Via Sassari by overturning garbage bins and threatening passersby.

Upon arrival, police officers were met with aggressive behavior as the man attempted to attack them with cobblestones. Only the use of a taser calmed him down, though he continued to hurl insults. The man was arrested on charges of aggravated damage and resisting arrest.

Despite holding a valid residence permit, the Moroccan man had a history of criminal offenses, including assault, theft, threats, and burglary. Following the incident, the police chief of Bolzano issued an expulsion order, which was immediately executed. The man was escorted by state police to Milan Malpensa Airport and deported to Morocco.
