Heavy rains and strong winds forecast for Morocco Monday and Tuesday

Locally heavy thundery showers with gusty winds are forecast for Monday and Tuesday in several provinces of the Kingdom, announced the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).

These showers (20-40 mm) are expected on Monday from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm in the provinces of Taroudant, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni, Guelmim and Tata. The DGM issued an «orange» alert bulletin for these areas.

The same phenomenon (15-25 mm) is forecast for Tuesday from 00:00 to 09:00 in the provinces of Skhirate-Temara, Khemisset, Rabat, Salé, Mediouna, Benslimane, Nouaceur, Mohammadia, Berrechid and Casablanca, adds the DGM.
