MoroccoAI conference to explore future of AI innovation

MoroccoAI will host its fourth annual conference virtually on December 4-5, 2024, under the theme «Driving the Future of Innovation Through AI». The event aims to strengthen Morocco's AI development capabilities.

The gathering builds on previous editions that featured international experts alongside Moroccan specialists. This year's speakers include Prof. Fouad Laroui from UM6P and Majda Moumni from OCP Solutions, focusing on AI's practical applications in Morocco's research and industry sectors.

The conference program includes sessions on AI's impact on Moroccan industry transformation and technological development. An InnovAI Hackathon offers 30,000 MAD in prizes for solutions addressing local challenges. The event expects 2,000 participants, including business leaders, academics, and government officials.

The National Agency for Digital Development (ADD) and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) support the initiative, alongside international technology companies. Sessions will be conducted in English, with some presentations in French.

The conference addresses key areas, including AI-driven research development, innovative applications, and ethical implications, aiming to contribute to Morocco's technological advancement through focused dialogue between the public and private sectors.
