A Moroccan man is wanted by Thai police for the suspected murder of his transgender girlfriend in Chiang Mai, a city in northern Thailand. According to local media, Thai police have sought the help of Interpol to arrest the man, who is believed to have fled the country.

The lifeless body of T.D. was discovered on Friday, December 6, in the beauty clinic she owned. The transgender woman was found lying on a bed in her third-floor bedroom.

Police reported bruising around her neck, suggesting possible strangulation. T.D. lived at the Dr. Sammy Clinic with her Moroccan boyfriend, B.C.

Before the victim’s body was discovered, B.C. was seen driving the woman’s car to the airport on Wednesday. He reportedly flew to Hong Kong on Thursday.

The victim’s sister had been unable to reach her for two days but did not report her missing, assuming that she was probably traveling with her boyfriend.

The body was discovered by a housekeeper cleaning the clinic. CCTV footage showed the couple entering the clinic together on Wednesday. Later, the boyfriend was seen leaving alone in her car, which he abandoned near the airport.
