Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has secured the title of «Best Airline in Africa» at the 21st GT Tested Reader Survey Awards in 2024, marking its second consecutive win in this category.

According to the US Global Traveler magazine, which organizes the awards, the selection process involved a comprehensive survey of 20,000 participants across more than 80 categories focused on luxury tourism and travel sectors. The magazine, recognized as a global reference in the travel industry, conducts this representative survey annually.

Responding to this recognition, Royal Air Maroc's CEO, Hamid Addou, highlighted the airline's focus on customer service. «Our customers are at the center of our priorities, and they represent the central axis of our development plan», Addou stated, emphasizing the company's commitment to enhancing the passenger experience.

The national carrier's achievement comes alongside another significant recognition for the oneworld alliance, which RAM joined in April 2020. The alliance received the «Best Airline Alliance» award for the 15th consecutive year. With 13 major airlines in its network, oneworld connects passengers to over 900 destinations worldwide, securing its position among the top three global airline alliances.

This dual recognition underscores RAM's role in strengthening African air connectivity and its contribution to the continent's international aviation presence. The announcement was made in Casablanca on December 13, 2024, through an official company press release.
