Social media users have been circulating images of the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, which is being constructed in preparation for hosting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup, mistakenly presenting them as the «Talanta» stadium being built in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, for hosting the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations alongside Tanzania and Uganda.
A Kenyan journalist also shared the image on his X platform account, praising the Kenyan Armed Forces, who are overseeing the construction process with assistance from a Chinese company.
