The Justice and Development Party (PJD) of Morocco has expressed its «great joy» over the recent ceasefire in Gaza, sending a congratulatory letter to Khalil al-Hayya, a prominent figure of Hamas. The letter celebrated what the PJD termed as a «victory for the resistance».

«We received with great joy and jubilation the news of the successful conclusion of a ceasefire agreement», the letter stated, referring to the end of what it described as an «unjust war» waged by the «brutal Zionist entity» against the Palestinian people in Gaza for fifteen months.

The PJD hailed the ceasefire as a «happy occasion» and expressed gratitude to God for what it sees as a clear victory. The party also extended prayers for the martyrs of Palestine and the leaders and soldiers of the resistance, acknowledging their sacrifices and hoping for the swift recovery of the wounded.

In its message, the PJD lauded the resistance's determination, patience, and steadfastness. It contrasted this with what it described as the failure of the «Zionist entity», which it accused of arrogance, barbarism, and brutality.

The PJD further emphasized that the «Zionist enemy» did not succeed in eliminating Hamas or other Palestinian resistance factions, which remain steadfast despite limited supplies and equipment. It also noted the failure to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip.
