Sha'ban 1446 AH begins January 31 in Morocco

The Moroccan Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs has announced that the month of Sha'ban in the year 1446 AH will commence on Friday, January 31, 2025.

In a statement released on Thursday, the ministry confirmed that it had observed the lunar crescent of Sha'ban on the evening of Thursday, 29 Rajab 1446 AH, which corresponds to January 30, 2025. The ministry added that «the appearance of the lunar crescent has been confirmed».
