US Joint Chiefs Chairman talks Sahel, Maghreb security with Morocco's Inspector General

General Charles Quinton Brown Jr., the 21st Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, engaged in discussions with Morocco’s Inspector General of the Royal Moroccan Armed ForcesMohammed Berrid on Monday.

In a post on his social media platform X, General CQ Brown highlighted that their talks centered on «security issues in the Sahel and Maghreb» regions.

«Morocco is one of our oldest allies; we will continue to support one another in the face of evolving security challenges», he stated.

Additionally, Morocco stands as the largest buyer of U.S. military equipment in Africa, facilitated through the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
