The young Chelsea prodigy, Ibrahim Rabbaj, born in 2009, has officially decided to wear the colors of Morocco, despite interest from England. This decision marks a significant turning point for the Atlas Cubs, who are integrating a promising talent into their squad.
Born in London to Moroccan parents, Rabbaj plays as an attacking midfielder in Chelsea's academy. At only 16 years old, he has already shown an impressive performance, scoring 52 goals and providing 60 assists in 40 matches. His style of play, characterized by refined technique and sharp vision, has attracted the attention of the English U15 and U16 teams, for which he has already been called up.

"I played a bit with England, but now I've joined Morocco because I really liked it. Inshallah, I'll play in the Africa Cup with Morocco, we'll win, and make our country proud. I want to score, give assists, show my game, and win the Africa Cup! ⚽????" pic.twitter.com/JX7KnTWmfC
However, Rabbaj has chosen to represent Morocco and will participate in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Morocco next month. This decision reflects his attachment to his Moroccan roots and constitutes a notable victory for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), which strives to bring back dual-nationality talents.
