A Spanish citizen died on Saturday following a motorcycle accident near the city of Agadir. The circumstances of the crash have yet to be clarified, but the motorcycle reportedly veered off the road. The victim, 41-year-old Juan Rivas, was on vacation in Morocco with three friends who shared his passion for motorcycling—a trip they had been planning for a long time.
The Spanish Consulate in Agadir is working with Rivas's family to arrange for the repatriation of his body, with Monday identified as the earliest possible date. His death has deeply saddened his hometown of Onís, where he was well known and cherished by relatives and friends.
