Heavy thunderstorms and hail expected in Morocco on Wednesday

Heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by localized hail and strong wind gusts, are expected on Wednesday in several provinces across Morocco, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced.

According to an orange-level weather alert issued by the DGM, intense storms (15–30 mm) are forecast between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM, affecting the provinces of Taza, Taourirt, Guercif, Jerada, Ifrane, Khénifra, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Saleh, Béni Mellal, and Azilal.
