King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to French President Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of France’s national holiday.

In his message, the monarch extends his warmest wishes to the French head of state and expresses his best hopes for the continued happiness and prosperity of France and its people.

«Having expressed a shared desire to build a future rooted in solidarity, our two countries are currently working, as they have at every pivotal moment in their shared history, to redefine the course of their cooperation in order to better address today’s challenges», the king wrote.

The monarch highlighted that «the strengthened Exceptional Partnership we have established lays the groundwork for a firm and shared commitment to shaping the future of our bilateral relations from a long-term, strategic perspective».

King Mohammed VI also reaffirmed Morocco’s determination to pursue the implementation of this reinforced partnership «in the same spirit of trust and mutual respect that has guided its development so far, and in keeping with the high ambitions both nations hold for Moroccan-French friendship».
