Tragic death of seven-year-old boy after stray dog bite in Nador

In a heartbreaking incident, a seven-year-old boy tragically lost his life on Monday morning, July 28, after battling severe complications from a stray dog bite he sustained three weeks prior in Nador.

As reported by local sources, the young boy, a resident of Al Aaroui, a town in Nador Province, was visiting his grandmother when he was suddenly attacked by a stray dog. The dog bit him on the head in what can only be described as a horrific encounter.

A passerby quickly came to his aid, and he was rushed to Al-Hassani Regional Hospital in Nador, where he received immediate medical attention, including a rabies vaccination. Despite the medical team's best efforts, his condition worsened over the following weeks, with symptoms including severe pain and eye discharge. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries yesterday.
