Under the directives of King Mohammed VI, the supreme commander and chief of staff of the Royal Armed Forces, a unit from the FAR participated in the celebration of Côte d'Ivoire's 65th independence anniversary, following an official invitation extended to Morocco.

On Thursday, the detachment from the first parachute infantry brigade joined the military parade in Bouaké, marking the national independence day alongside the Ivorian Armed Forces, as reported by the FAR general staff.

This participation underscores the robust and exemplary ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two nations, particularly in the military sphere, the statement further noted.

As part of its commitment to solidarity with African countries, Morocco is dedicated to supporting its key partners and is eager to share in their celebrations during significant commemorative events.
