Moroccan father and daughter arrested in shocking incest case involving six children

Yesterday morning, the Royal Gendarmerie in Ain Aouda brought a father and his daughter before the public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal in Rabat. They are suspected of engaging in an incestuous relationship that led to the birth of six children.

The shocking case surfaced when a 20-year-old woman, born from the illicit union between the father and his daughter, filed a complaint with the public prosecutor. Her complaint arose from difficulties she encountered in obtaining marriage documents after receiving a proposal. Investigations revealed that her mother is also the daughter of the main suspect, who has fathered several children with her over the years, according to the newspaper Assabah.

Following the complaint, the public prosecutor instructed the judicial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Ain Aouda to conduct a discreet investigation. This culminated in a raid on the Douar Oulad Boutaib, resulting in the arrest of the father, the daughter, and their six children. During questioning, the 39-year-old daughter confessed that half of her children were fathered by her own father, while the others are suspected to have been conceived through a relationship with another man.

Under the directive of the public prosecutor, the detainees were placed in custody and subjected to genetic testing to confirm the children's parentage. DNA samples from the father, daughter, and the six children were sent to the laboratory of the Royal Gendarmerie's High Command in Rabat, where the results of the genetic analysis are awaited.
